La investigadora del CITIC y presidenta de la AEPIA, Amparo Alonso, participa este jueves 27 de mayo en la sesión “Unlocking the potential of artificial intelligence in cancer research and care”, organizada por el Special Committee on Beating Cancer (BECA) del Parlamento Europeo en colaboración con el Special Committee on Artificial Intelligence in a Digital Age (AIDA).
Se trata de una audiencia pública que pondrá de relieve el uso de la inteligencia artificial en la investigación y atención del cáncer y la medicina oncológica, analizando sus implicaciones y perspectivas futuras, de la mano de 8 expertos líderes en el campo. Amparo Alonso participará en el panel 1, que abordará las experiencias de la IA en la obtención de imágenes, la detección y el diagnóstico del cáncer.
La conferencia se podrá seguir online a través de la web del Parlamento Europeo.
