El investigador del área de Inteligencia Artificial del CITIC, Juan Romero, participó como chair en la 9th International Conference on Computational Intelligence in Music, Sound, Art and Design (EvoMUSART). La conferencia tuvo lugar el pasado mes de abril y ha sido publicada en Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS).
El congreso EvoMUSART se celebró por primera vez como un workshop en 2003, con periodicidad anual, y tiene objetivo de reunir a investigadores que utilizan técnicas de inteligencia computacional para tareas artísticas, brindando la oportunidad de promover, presentar y discutir los proyectos en los que se encuentran trabajando en este ámbito.
La próxima edición tendrá lugar en 2021 en Sevilla, y el investigador Juan Romero participará de nuevo como chair.
