Las asociaciones TIC de Galicia apoyando los eventos de tecnología social y responsable organizaron el primer encuentro CATS en Galicia sobre Tecnología social al que asistió el CITIC el pasado 28 de junio.
CATS (Club de Amigos de la Tecnología Social) es un evento organizado por la Fundación de Tecnología Social (FTS) que se celebra con regularidad en Madrid y que por primera vez se ha realizado en Galicia gracias a la colaboración de EGANET, INEO, AGESTIC y CNTG para mostrar que la tecnología responsable al servicio de todas las personas, no sólo cumple un fin social, sino que es un importante nicho de mercado para muchas empresas del sector TIC.
Desde el CITIC apostamos por la tecnología social, con especial énfasis en la atención a la diversidad, a la dependencia y a la salud que se refleja a través de los múltiples Proyectos de I+D desarrollados desde el Centro en este ámbito.
