La Xunta ha convocado 151 nuevas ayudas predoctorales y posdoctorales de la modalidad de formación inicial de investigadores en Galicia. Estas ayudas cuentan con una financiación de 15,2 millones de euros aportados por los presupuestos autonómicos a través de una acción conjunta entre la Consellería de Cultura, Educación y Universidad y la Vicepresidencia segunda y Consellería de Economía, Empresa e Innovación.
El programa de apoyo predoctoral ofrece 102 contratos, mientras que el programa posdoctoral de formación inicial cuenta con 49 plazas. La duración máxima de las becas será de 3 años.
Esta convocatoria está destinada a las universidades del SUG, a los organismos públicos de investigación de Galicia, a las fundaciones de investigación sanitaria de Galicia (Fundación Instituto de Investigación Sanitaria de Santiago de Compostela, Fundación Profesor Novoa Santos y Fundación Biomédica Galicia Sur), y a los centros del CSIC (Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas) y el IEO (Instituto Español de Oceanografía).
El plazo de presentación de solicitudes estará abierto hasta el 1 de marzo.
