El investigador del CITIC Vicente Moret impartirá el próximo 14 de febrero un webinar enmarcado en la serie organizada desde del proyecto NEASQC (NExt ApplicationS of Quantum Computing), en el que participa el CITIC con los investigadores Ramón Doallo Biempica, Juan Touriño Domínguez, Carlos Vázquez Cendón y el propio Vicente Moret Bonillo.
Una de las sesiones que se celebrarán dentro del paquete de trabajo 6, “Symbolic AI and Graph Algorithmics”, será “Quantum Rule-Based Systems (QRBS)”, en la que participará Moret con la charla “Inaccurate Knowledge and Quantum Computing”, junto con el profesor de la Universidad de Lisboa Andreas Wichert.
El proyecto NEASQC reúne un consorcio multidisciplinar de expertos académicos y de la industria en computación cuántica, computación de alto rendimiento, inteligencia artificial, química, banca y gestión energética, con el fin de investigar y desarrollar una nueva generación de aplicaciones que puedan aprovechar los sistemas NISQ (Noise Intermediate-Scale Quantum) en un futuro próximo. NEASQC se basa en casos de uso y aborda problemas prácticos como el descubrimiento de fármacos, la captura de CO2, la gestión inteligente de la energía, el procesamiento del lenguaje natural, la detección del cáncer de mama, la evaluación de riesgos probabilísticos para infraestructuras energéticas y la gestión de inventario.
