El investigador del CITIC Vicente Moret participará como conferenciante en el evento «Atos Tech Days«, que se celebrará el 7 y 8 de julio. Se trata de la sexta edición del evento anual organizado por la empresa Atos, donde presenta su estrategia de ecosistema de plataforma digital, y en el que participan oradores internacionales de su red de innovación.
Vicente Moret ha sido invitado a participar en el marco del proyecto NEASQC, con su ponencia «Quantum Computing and Breast Cancer», en la que explicará cómo la computación cuántica puede ayudar en el conocimiento clínico en oncología y, en concreto, para el diagnóstico del cáncer de mama.
El proyecto NExt ApplicationS of Quantum Computing (NEASQC), en el que participan los investigadores del CITIC Vicente Moret Bonillo, Carlos Vázquez Cendón, Juan Touriño Domínguez y Ramón Doallo Biempica, investigará una gran selección de casos de uso industriales y financieros compatibles con los procesadores cuánticos actuales (denominados NISQ). Así, tiene como objetivo demostrar que existen casos de uso de prácticos y relevantes en donde es interesante emplear los dispositivos NISQ que estarán disponibles en un futuro cercano.
