El trabajo presentado por Beatriz Salvador ha obtenido el premio de la revista Journal of Computational Finance al mejor trabajo presentado por un joven investigador en el Congreso Internacional de Finanzas Computacionales ICCF2019. El galardón ha sido compartido con Anastasia Borovnik, del CWI de Amsterdam.
El trabajo premiado propone nuevos modelos de cálculo de XVA en riesgo de contrapartida, además los analiza matemáticamente y los resuelve numéricamente para opciones americanas. Los grandes bancos tienen equipos de quants dedicados al XVA y tres conferenciantes plenarios expertos en el tema han participado en ICCF2019.
Tras defender su tesis doctoral en diciembre de 2018 como miembro del grupo M2NICA y del CITIC, Beatriz ha continuado su carrera investigadora con un contrato posdoctoral ERCIM en el CWI de Holanda.
