A Coruña, November 6th. – On November 13, the CITIC at the University of A Coruña will host a new session in the HumanIA: The Challenge for the Humanities in the Age of Artificial Intelligence series. This initiative creates a space for learning where the university community and professionals from diverse disciplines can explore how AI is reshaping society and professions related to the Humanities.

The series is organized by the Social Council and the Faculty of Humanities at the Ferrol Campus of UDC in collaboration with CITIC. Its goal is to foster dialogue on how technology can transform our understanding of art, culture, history, and language using cutting-edge tools.

This November session will feature Marta Suárez, a lawyer, researcher, and cultural manager, presenting on “Art and Creativity in the Age of AI.” As the director of Artworld Law, a specialized consultancy, she offers services focused on the art market and heritage protection, addressing digital challenges such as blockchain, the metaverse, NFTs, and artificial intelligence.

Marta Suárez has an extensive career in legal consulting and cultural management, particularly in contemporary art, where she has collaborated with both creators and industry professionals. She has led cultural projects across the public and private sectors and continues her involvement with various cultural associations she has managed.

In addition to her professional work, Marta is an active academic researcher. She has completed a professional residency at the UN and taught at numerous universities. Her work and publications on the intersection of art, law, and new technologies are widely recognized.
