CITIC, the Centre for Information and Communications Technology Research of the University of A Coruña (UDC), is looking for outstanding postdoctoral researchers who would like to boost their careers applying for Marie Skłodowska Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships in 2022 with CITIC as the hosting institution.
CITIC is a research centre which promotes the advancement and excellence in R&D in the use of ICTs. It is the only ICT centre awarded the distinction of Research Centre of Galicia 2019-2022 by the Regional Government of Galicia (North-West of Spain). CITIC was created in 2008 as a bridge between the university and private companies in the ICT sector. The UDC is a young public university, with an extensive catalogue of courses, including 39 undergraduate, 57 Master’s and 36 PhD degree programmes. UDC’s activity is coordinated around its three specialised campuses – Industry, Sustainable Development and Innovation.
CITIC’s research is divided into four research areas: Artificial Intelligence, Data Science and Engineering, High Performance Computing, and Intelligent Networks and Services; and one cross-disciplinary stream which draws on all four, Cybersecurity.
CITIC therefore invites Expression of Interest (EoI) from excellent researchers who would like to apply for MSCA-Postdoctoral Fellowships in 2022. EoIs are open to all CITIC’s research areas. Candidates can find further information about research priorities, supervisors and CITIC’s current projects at CITIC’s website: https://citic.udc.es/
CITIC and the UDC will offer support and guidance to the selected applicants during the application process (tentative deadline 14th September 2022). Further information about the UDC support to excellent science can be found here: https://otri.udc.es/cienciaexcelente/
The UDC obtained in 2017 the HRS4R award, that gives recognition to our human resources policies.
CITIC provides researchers optimal working conditions to carry out their projects and develop their careers. Researchers will benefit from CITIC’s high-quality support and facilities, including an open, modern offices space and full access to the CITIC Data Centre. Researchers will also have access to a range of general UDC facilities and services. Fellows will receive full social security coverage in compliance with Spanish legislation, including unemployment benefits, full social healthcare coverage, maternity, paternity, fostering and adoption leave and paid holidays. In accordance with CITIC internal regulations, employment and working conditions will provide researchers a good work life balance.
