
CITIC Participates in the “Día da Ciencia na Rúa”
This Saturday, May 10, CITIC of the UDC will take part in the “Día da Ciencia na Rúa” (Street Science Day), offering a program of activities and workshops throughout the day. The ICT center will be located at booth number 60.
The event, which will take place at the Parque de Santa Margarita in A Coruña from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, is organized by the Scientific Museums of A Coruña – A Coruña City Council, the Friends of the Casa das Ciencias Association, and the EMALCSA-UDC Chair. It is held with the support of the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology – Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, and the Provincial Council of A Coruña.

11:00 AM – 2:30 PM – Morning session
- Bioinformatics workshop: Lucía Martínez Rodríguez and Carlos Fernández Lozano.
- Virtual Reality: Games to develop cognitive skills in people with intellectual disabilities: Iago Fernández Garrido.
- Switch, Mario Kart adapted to be controlled using the torso or head: Paula de Santos Dorrego.
- Custom games for people with disabilities – “Compra con-migo”: Jorge Rivadulla Brey.
