CITIC presents its civil security proposals at the Horizon Europe calls presentation day
- As part of the Info Day for Cluster 3 of Horizon Europe for R&D&I projects in security, organized by the Galician Innovation Agency (GAIN) and the Gradiant Technology Center on Wednesday, May 29, at the City of ICT.
- CITIC aims to address natural disasters, improve social coexistence, and combat terrorism through ICT solutions in this European call.
During the event, CITIC of the UDC presented its capabilities and proposals to contribute to Civil Security in various topics of the call. Additionally, bilateral meetings were held to explore opportunities in the center’s five research areas: Artificial Intelligence, Data Science and Engineering, High-Performance Computing, Smart Services and Networks, and Cybersecurity.
These calls will fund a wide range of activities, including the development of technological, logistical, energy-based, or drone-based solutions, as well as the implementation of new communication practices, design of materials, and infrastructures. The application of these developments should focus on civil security, natural disaster response, counter-terrorism, and other threats, and societal resilience.
The event featured the participation of Marina Martínez, National Contact Point of the CDTI for Cluster 3 of Horizon Europe.
