The Faculty of Computer Science of the UDC has hosted throughout this week the International Software Product Line Conference (SPLC 2025), a global congress where specialists from different countries analyze the research and industrial application of software product lines, a key approach for the development of complex systems. The goal of the event is to bring together perspectives from research and academia with those of manufacturers and designers.

The program, sponsored by CITIC, includes conferences on different areas of activity such as how artificial intelligence can help design and improve complex computer systems, how to optimize their performance, and how to adapt them more easily to different needs.

Examples of use in very diverse fields have also been presented, ranging from smart agriculture to digital marketing and automotive, showing the impact these technologies already have on key sectors of our economy.

The scientific program encompasses 46 contributions, distributed among research presentations, industrial application cases, previously published relevant articles, the doctoral symposium, demonstration and tool sessions, tutorials, and specialized workshops.

Yesterday, the participants of the International Software Product Line Conference and the Rector of the UDC, Ricardo Cao, attended a reception at the Concello da Coruña, where they were welcomed by Councilor Nereida Canosa.
