Launch of the Spain-Portugal Cross-Border Cooperation Program GRESINT, for intelligent waste management
- Registration is now open for the presentation of the program scheduled for March 14th in Santiago de Compostela.
Next week, the Operational Program for Cross-Border Cooperation Spain-Portugal (POCTEP) GRESINT will be presented in Santiago, focusing on intelligent digital transformation in waste classification processes, with the participation of CITIC from UDC.
The event will take place in Santiago de Compostela on Thursday, March 14th, at the Galician Innovation Agency (GAIN), and attendance is possible through prior registration (POCTEP Gresint Launch Event), with limited seating available on a first-come, first-served basis.
GRESINT launch event will commence at 9:45 and will feature the participation of Javier Domínguez, President of SOGAMA, Xosé Lago, Regional Coordinator of POCTEP, and Mário Guimarães, POCTEP Coordinator for Regional Coordination and Development of the North.
From CITIC at UDC, researchers and professors from the University of A Coruña, Miguel A. Rodríguez Luaces, and Carlos Vázquez Regueiro, will be participating.
The program features a conference on “DATACENTER LIPOR: digitization of waste management” and a roundtable discussion on “Artificial Intelligence applied to waste.”
The GRESINT project is co-financed by the European Union through the Interreg VI-A Spain-Portugal Program (POCTEP) 2021-2027.
