Individuals interested in joining the working group on AI in education at the European Digital Education Hub of the European Commission, led by CITIC researcher Francisco Bellas, have until August 5 to complete their registration. Access to the registration can be done through the following link: EU Survey on Explainable AI.
This new team aims to build on the high success of the previous Squad 5, led by Lidija Kralj, which produced a set of reports that had a significant impact in the field.
The working group will focus on the “explainability” of AI in education, a term used in the context of artificial intelligence and machine learning to refer to the ability of a model or system to be understood and explained in comprehensible terms for humans.
Additionally, the registration period is also open for the workshop on AI and education, scheduled for October 17 and 18, 2024, in Brussels.
Be sure to submit your application by August 5.
