16/05/2024 - CITIC
  • Eva López Barrio, head of the Woman Emprende program and coordinator of the Innovatia 8.3 project at the Women’s Institute, will be the speaker for this training session aimed at CITIC staff.

How is the gender perspective introduced into research? This is the question that Eva López Barrio, head of the Woman Emprende program and coordinator of the Innovatia 8.3 project at the Women’s Institute, will address in the session “The Gender Perspective in Research,” which will take place next Tuesday, May 21, at CITIC of UDC. Through a participatory methodology, the session aims to provide attendees with a comprehensive view of the elements to consider when developing proposals with a gender perspective and the keys to implementing each one.

During the session, which is directed at CITIC staff, Eva López will introduce key concepts such as “sex” and “gender,” and how to incorporate the gender perspective into people management and research activities. Additionally, the head of the Woman Emprende program will discuss the gender perspective from an organizational viewpoint, how to integrate it into the center’s strategic planning, the selection of research areas, and providing guidelines on equal opportunities.

The incorporation of the gender perspective in research activities and the Innovatia 8.3 project will be other topics covered in this session. Those interested can register via the following form: https://forms.office.com/e/FyDSC3tRgZ.
