Six researchers from the CITIC at the University of A Coruña have been recognized by Stanford University (USA) in the prestigious World’s Top 2% Scientist List, which identifies the top 2% of the most influential scientists globally across all disciplines.

The list, compiled from the Scopus (Elsevier) database, provides two rankings: one covering researchers’ entire careers and another focused on their most recent work (year 2024).

In the case of CITIC, Tiago M. Meanwhile, Paula Fraga Lamas, Diego Darriba, and Amparo Alonso Betanzos are featured in the ranking focused on the past year.

This international recognition highlights CITIC’s leadership in fields such as Information and Communication Technologies, one of the most highly represented areas in the global ranking.
