The Center for Research in Information and Communication Technologies (CITIC) at UDC received a visit from 14 students and a teacher from the STEMBach program at CPR Liceo La Paz in A Coruña on December 2nd. This initiative aims to bring students closer to cutting-edge scientific and technological research, fostering their interest in these strategic areas.

During the day, the students toured CITIC, designed to showcase the work carried out at this leading center. The visit included an initial presentation introducing CITIC’s main research lines and its projects in areas such as artificial intelligence, big data, cybersecurity, and robotics. Additionally, they participated in workshops and practical demonstrations of innovative technologies, providing them with an interactive and educational experience.

Finally, the students had the opportunity to learn about some of the projects developed by the research staff and the impact of their work on society. This activity highlights the importance of bringing new generations closer to the world of technological research, offering students a practical view of the potential of STEM disciplines in their academic and professional future.
