The CITIC researcher at the University of A Coruña, Eduardo Mosquera, recently shared his experience at the ML in PL CONFERENCE 2023, which in its seventh edition was focused on the best of Machine Learning in both the academic and business fields.

Mosquera participated in a round table in which he analyzed the «Human in the Loop» concept in the context of training artificial intelligence models. In his presentation, the CITIC researcher together with his colleagues, Veronika Cheplygina and Alina Powała, analyzed how human interaction can significantly enhance the development of machine learning models. The roundtable focused on crucial questions, addressing the effectiveness of leveraging human experience and knowledge in the training process, as well as evaluating the intrinsic value of these contributions.

The event marked another step in the direction of understanding and appreciating the essential role that the human factor plays in the continued advancement of artificial intelligence.
