Borja Adsuara inaugurates at CITIC the HumanIA cycle, in which he analyzes how AI should be regulated
The expert in Digital Law, Borja Adsuara Varela, was responsible for opening the HumanaIA UDC cycle: The challenge for the Humanities in times of Artificial Intelligence, workshops organized by the Faculty of Humanities and the Social Council of the University of Coruña, in collaboration with CITIC, to show the impact and potential of Artificial Intelligence in studies and work related to the Humanities.
The first of these workshops is focused on the regulation of Artificial Intelligence and will be taught by Borja Adsuara, who under the title “How should Artificial Intelligence be regulated?” will delve into the legal aspects to take into account such as the right to intellectual property, image rights, high-risk uses and prohibited uses, among others.
Artificial Intelligence is transforming the way we operate and we must adapt our system of principles and standards based on this innovative technology, which presents new challenges and opportunities for professionals in the social sciences, law and art -to which this activity is directed- which will also address work opportunities related to the legal, regulatory and ethical aspects of the use of AI.
AI and labor market
The second workshop will take place at CITIC on November 9 and will be taught by Paul Van Branteghem, an expert in Artificial Intelligence and co-founder of Spain-IA. This second day will be about “GPT Chat and other applications: use cases in the labour market” and will show attendees how AI can be applied in different professions through real examples and the most used tools. It will also enable them to know the real impact on the labour market.
