The ”Consellería de Educación, Universidad e Formación Profesional”, through the resolution of April 19, 2024 (DOG No. 85, April 30, 2024), which grants the aids established by the Order of October 24, 2023 (DOG No. 211, November 7, 2023), setting the regulatory bases for the competitive accreditation of excellence (scientific, technical, or artistic) and for the provision of structural, improvement, and support funding for research centers within the Galician University System, accredits CITIC as a “Center of Excellence” and recognizes it as a “Member of the CIGUS Network” for the period 2024–2027 (ED431G 2023/01).

With this support, CITIC will be able to consolidate the advancement and excellence of scientific knowledge in its technological areas, improve professionalization, increase the capacity for technological transfer and promote its internationalization.
