CITIC received a visit from 40 students from IES Mosteirón de Sada this Thursday, February 22nd, as part of the center’s regular activity to inspire technological vocations among young people and share the results of their research with society.

During the visit, participants learned about the research lines developed at CITIC and some of its main projects. In the Technological Demonstrator, students tried augmented reality glasses and NAO, a programmable humanoid robot with facial and voice recognition technology.  

The day concluded in the Virtual Reality laboratory, where the virtual supermarket, developed by researcher Manuel Lagos, was showcased to help in the rehabilitation of people with disabilities.
