CITIC received today the visit of students from the Computer Engineering mention of the Computer Engineering Degree at UDC. The group, accompanied by teacher and researcher Adriana Dapena, began the itinerary at the Technological Demonstrator, where they tested augmented reality and virtual reality glasses. They also tested NAO, the humanoid robot, and Robobo, designed for learning intelligent robotics and operating through a smartphone.
After the demonstrator, they visited the room dedicated to the history of video games that CITIC is setting up. It is a museum where hardware and peripherals for video games, old game consoles, as well as historical games like Pac-Man will be exhibited.
The visit ended in the Virtual Reality Room, where the virtual supermarket designed by researcher Manuel Lagos was shown, and they were able to test the Omni One platform.
