About Talentos Inclusivos
Talentos Inclusivos is a project developed by CITIC (Center for Research in Information and Communication Technologies) at the UDC (Universidade da Coruña) and ASPACE Coruña, supported by FECYT (Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology) of the Ministry of Science, Innovation, and Universities; the UDC Social Council; the City Council of A Coruña, and the Regional Government of Galicia.
Its goal is to awaken vocations in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) careers among young people and raise awareness about disability through collaborative work teams tasked with solving technological challenges posed by people with cerebral palsy.
Through this project, middle and high school students from various schools in Galicia work on technological solutions for a series of challenges proposed by members of ASPACE Coruña, Amanecer-ASPACE, APAMP, and the Red Cross in A Coruña.
Talentos Inclusivos also receives support from Inditex volunteers, who provide guidance in developing the challenges.
