A Coruña, March 9th, 2026

The Research Centre in Information and Communication Technologies (CITIC) at the Universidade da Coruña will host the 11th and 12th of March the in-person workshop “From business idea to AI prototype and natural language in 2 days”, on March 11th and 12th. This intensive, hands-on workshop is aimed at individuals interested in transforming an idea into a functional prototype using artificial intelligence tools. It is organized by the Social Council of the UDC and the Social Council of the USC.

The training offers a 100% practical learning experience in which participants will be able to transform an initial idea into a visible and functional first version, whether a website or a mini application, without needing any prior programming knowledge. Across two sessions, participants will follow a guided process that will allow them to go from “having an idea” to having a functional demo that they can present, test with users, and continue improving afterwards.

The workshop is designed for both aspiring entrepreneurs and professionals who need to prototype solutions quickly, including university students, professionals from various fields, researchers, and teams working on internal projects. During the workshop, participants will develop a functional prototype or demo ready to showcase, while also learning a methodology for iterating and improving their initial proposal and a reusable script of prompts that can be applied to other projects.

The course will be held at the CITIC facilities on the afternoon of March 11th, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and on the morning of March 12th, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The workshop has 45 available spots and will be conducted in a hands-on, in-person format, with support throughout the prototype creation process.

The training will be led by generative artificial intelligence specialists Daniel Alías and Álvaro Sánchez Villanueva. Those interested should bring a laptop with an internet connection and an email account to register for the tools that will be used during the sessions. Registration for the workshop is now open via the form provided for this activity.
