The Erasmus+ EDIGIT Project Moves Forward Successfully with a Focus Group at CITIC
A Coruña, May 16, 2025.– Last Thursday, May 15, the Centre for Research in Information and Communication Technologies (CITIC) at the University of A Coruña (UDC) hosted a Focus Group as part of the Erasmus+ EDIGIT project, within Work Package No. 2 (WP2). This set of activities focuses on establishing methodological and pedagogical guidelines, as well as the content outline for training modules, with the aim of promoting inclusion in STEM education.
The main objective of this session was to gather feedback and suggestions regarding the relevance and usefulness of the training content to be developed within the EDIGIT project. The session brought together 15 professionals, including STEM teachers, guidance counselors, care and disability support professionals, special education teachers, university faculty in the fields of education and occupational therapy, as well as representatives from the ICT sector.
The Focus Group followed a structure divided into two main parts. The first part included a presentation of the EDIGIT project, its objectives, and the purpose of the Focus Group, as well as the requirements for participants. Attendees introduced themselves and the organizations they represented, and the methodological and pedagogical guidelines were presented along with the outline of the thematic training modules.
In the second part, participants were divided into small groups of up to five people, each with a moderator to facilitate the discussion. Three key thematic areas were addressed: methodological approach, structure of the thematic modules, and the proposed content outline.
The feedback gathered during the session will be essential for developing relevant and useful training content within the EDIGIT project.
