• The Faculty of Computer Science of the UDC hosts the event, which is sponsored by the Research Center in Information and Communication Technologies (CITIC) of the UDC.

The three Galician universities celebrate this Friday, February 23rd, the fourth edition of the “PhDay-EIO”, a unique event where students from the Official Doctoral Program in Statistics and Operations Research have the opportunity to share and present their research work. This time, the meeting will take place at the Faculty of Computer Science of the UDC and will be sponsored by CITIC.

The PhDay-EIO is the perfect occasion to establish connections with research staff and other doctoral colleagues, as well as a place to disseminate the work carried out.  

Additionally, during the event, the best oral communication will be awarded a prize granted by the Galician Society for the Promotion of Statistics and Operations Research (SGaPEIO), which will evaluate the presented research, especially its informative nature.

The organizing committee of this edition is made up of doctoral students from this program: Beatriz Piñeiro Lamas, Blanca Estela Monroy Castillo, Jorge Castiñeiras Rella, Marta Rodríguez Barreiro, Alicia Mascareñas, and Naomi Diz Rosales.
