The vice-rector for Science Policy, Research and Transfer of the UDC, Salvador Naya, and the director of the CITIC, Manuel Penedo, received members of the Marta Abreu University of Santa Clara, Cuba, at the center’s facilities.

Professors Alberto Pérez Bermúdez, dean of the Faculty of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering; Yunier Valeriano Medina, dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, and Manuel Alejandro Rubio Rodríguez, director of the Center for Energy Studies and Environmental Technologies, arrived last Tuesday at the University of A Coruña on the occasion of an institutional visit.

The aim of the meeting is to strengthen ties and explore new ways of collaboration between both entities that allow them to carry out joint projects with international scope, interested in topics such as the Internet of Things, Smart cities or energy efficiency.
