On Friday, October 20 took place the inauguration of the ICT City with the opening of the building of the Advanced Services Center (CSA). This project, together with the election of Coruña as the headquarters of the State Agency for the Supervision of Artificial Intelligence (AESIA) will make the city a reference in the technological field, serving as a meeting point between companies and the University of A Coruña (UDC).
In this edition, the festival will feature an opening ceremony that will take place on the evening of Friday, November 3 at the CSA of the ICT City. On the morning of Saturday 4, at the same venue, the “AI & Creation Day” congress will be held with a program of talks and academic round tables on music generated with artificial intelligence and intellectual property rights. Finally, at night the main gala will take place at Studio Follow (Polígono de A Grela).
Last Friday September 29th took place the G-NIGHT, the Galician Night of Researchers, a scientific dissemination event that is held simultaneously throughout Europe.
El Centro de Investigación Mariña de la Universidade de Vigo (CIM) y el Centro de Investigación en Tecnologías de la Información y las Comunicaciones de la Universidade de A Coruña (CITIC de la UDC) han establecido una colaboración estratégica para llevar a cabo un estudio sobre la contaminación lumínica en las rías de Vigo y Pontevedra.
El rector de la Universidade da Coruña, Julio Abalde, y el presidente de la Federación Española de Enfermedades Raras (FEDER), Juan Carrión, firmaron ayer un convenio de colaboración para fomentar el intercambio de experiencias y de personal en los campos de la docencia, la investigación y la cultura especialmente en lo relativo a estas patologías.
