The intervention took place at the “I Conference on the application of Artificial Intelligence in emergency management” of the National School of Civil Protection.
The CITIC researcher of the University of Coruña, Amparo Alonso, will give a talk tomorrow, Wednesday, April 10, within the Specialization Course in Social Sustainability (CESIS) of the Inditex-UDC Chair of Sustainability.
The project, promoted by institutional and technological partners from Galicia and Portugal, plans to develop an AI pilot platform until 2026.
Next week the Operational Program for Cross-Border Cooperation Spain-Portugal (POCTEP) GRESINT will be presented in Santiago.
On Friday, October 20 took place the inauguration of the ICT City with the opening of the building of the Advanced Services Center (CSA). This project, together with the election of Coruña as the headquarters of the State Agency for the Supervision of Artificial Intelligence (AESIA) will make the city a reference in the technological field, serving as a meeting point between companies and the University of A Coruña (UDC).
In this edition, the festival will feature an opening ceremony that will take place on the evening of Friday, November 3 at the CSA of the ICT City. On the morning of Saturday 4, at the same venue, the “AI & Creation Day” congress will be held with a program of talks and academic round tables on music generated with artificial intelligence and intellectual property rights. Finally, at night the main gala will take place at Studio Follow (Polígono de A Grela).
