The CITIC at the Universidade da Coruña participated this past May 9th in the latest edition of “Día da Ciencia na Rúa”, an event of particular significance as it marked it 30th anniversary and was held, for the first time, in the Gardens of Méndez Núñez in A Coruña.
The research proposes the use of an electric current — based on the Joule effect — as an alternative to conventional curing of carbon fibre composites. The thesis was co-directed by Salvador Naya, a researcher at CITIC, and Ramón Artiaga, from CITENI.
