CITIC held a day of presentation of the prototypes for the CITIC Demonstrator in which 9 researchers from the center showed the prototypes in operation in order to install them in the Demonstrator Room.
From October 26 to 28, the XVI Galician Congress of Statistics and Operations Research (SGAPEIO), of which CITIC is a sponsor, was held at the School of Civil Engineering of the UDC.

The Cycle of Conferences on Artificial Intelligence, entitled “Electricity in the 21st century”, organized by the Royal Galician Academy of Sciences (RAGC) in collaboration with the Diputación da Coruña, comes to an end today, with the conference given by the CITIC researcher Verónica Bolón, head of the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence area of the Universidade da Coruña.

Xunta has approved the agreement with the UDC, which exceeds 560,000 euros, to co-finance the hiring of 8 people in predoctoral stage in the framework of the European program COFUND, which is developed in the CITIC.
CITIC researcher Ricardo Cao participated in the Session on Statistical Innovation in the European Statistical System, held in Madrid on Monday 23 October. This is the first of two events organized by the National Statistics Institute (INE) to coincide with the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The session was inaugurated by Elena Manzanera, the president of INE.
On Friday, October 20 took place the inauguration of the ICT City with the opening of the building of the Advanced Services Center (CSA). This project, together with the election of Coruña as the headquarters of the State Agency for the Supervision of Artificial Intelligence (AESIA) will make the city a reference in the technological field, serving as a meeting point between companies and the University of A Coruña (UDC).
In this edition, the festival will feature an opening ceremony that will take place on the evening of Friday, November 3 at the CSA of the ICT City. On the morning of Saturday 4, at the same venue, the “AI & Creation Day” congress will be held with a program of talks and academic round tables on music generated with artificial intelligence and intellectual property rights. Finally, at night the main gala will take place at Studio Follow (Polígono de A Grela).
