
Practical cybersecurity challenges are arriving to the CITIC on the 25th and 26th of March

The ICT centre at the UDC celebrates a CTF, part of the INCIBE Emprende program, focused on facing real challenges in a practical way in cybersecurity.

The initiative is part of the “UDC Visits Connect with Galician Clusters” program, which promotes knowledge transfer between the university and the clusters of the Community.

CITIC researcher José Vázquez Naya took part last February as a guest speaker at the Conference on Research in AI and Cybersecurity, held at Universidad Alfonso X el Sabio.

The CITIC hosted the first workshops of this initiative promoted by the Social Councils of the participating universities to support the development of new innovative projects.

This is an intensive, hands-on course aimed at people interested in turning an idea into a first functional prototype using artificial intelligence tools.

The researcher María Suárez Taboada and Alexia Díaz Cerceda, from the International Projects Area at the CITIC, attended to the event promoted by the Women in Digital Forum on the occasion of International Women’s Day, in which initiatives of the ICT Centre to promote the participation of girls and women in STEM or the letter of commitment to good gender practices were highlighted.

The CITIC at the UDC hosts the micro-credential course “AI applied to the control and improvement of production and logistics processes”, a practical training aimed at professionals who wish to incorporate artificial intelligence into the operative management of their organisations.
