On the 24th of April, a new edition of the AdaByron Galicia 2026 competition took place, having established itself as one of the leading programming competitions for university students.

Today, representatives of the main Galician clusters visited the CITIC at the UDC under the framework of UDC Conecta, an initiative organised by the Office for Knowledge Transfer (OTC).

The Universidade da Coruña and the technology centre have created the IGI-UDC Chair on Quantic Technology to promote research, training and technology transfer in this key field. This chair will be based at the Centre for Research in Information and Communication Technologies (CITIC) and led by its director, Manuel F. González Penedo.

The SCA-COFUND researcher Blanca Monroy Castillo has recently defended her doctoral thesis entitled “Flexible Cure Models in Data Science for Predicting Sustained Remission in Rheumatoid Arthritis”.

From tomorrow until next Friday, 17 April, the Faculty of Computer Science at the UDC is hosting the 7th edition of the FIC Internship and Employment Fair (FEPE FIC).
