The CITIC of UDC held today the first breakfast of the year in the TIC Talk series, with the talk entitled “Is our electoral system unfair? A look from game theory”, delivered by researcher Alicia Mascareñas.

The II Week of Initiatives and International Projects (WIIPRO), taking place between 26 and 30 January, will feature contributions from universities, research centres and technology companies that promote international collaborations.

The talk, which will take place on Wednesday 28 January, is part of the series “Green Convergence: AI for a sustainable future” of the Inditex-UDC Chair of AI in Green Algorithms.

CITIC hosted today the technical workshop of the Second Conference of the European project RePo-SUDOE, coordinated at UDC by researcher Carlos Fernández Lozano. The event focused on the role of technology in identifying new therapeutic applications for existing drugs.

The Deputy Director of CITIC at the University of A Coruña, Javier Pereira, underscored the importance of a multimodal prevention model during his participation in the events marking the 30th anniversary of the A Coruña Alzheimer’s Family Association (AFACO)
