A investigadora do Centro de Investigación en Tecnoloxías da Información e as Comunicacións (CITIC) da Universidade da Coruña, Amparo Alonso, acaba de ser nomeada “Cabaleiro de Honra” da Real Orden de Cabaleiros de María Pita.
A catedrática da UDC na área de Ciencias da Computación e Inteligencia Artificial ten participado en diversas actividades da entidade e impartiu o pasado mes de xullo unha conferencia sobre “IA: oportunidade e reto”.
A Orde de Cabaleiros de María Pita fundouse o 2 de maio de 1990, na histórica casa de María Pita, na rúa de Herrerías da Cidade Vella coruñesa, co propósito de investigar e dar a coñecer a figura de María Pita, a súa contorna e a súa época, así como o carácter liberal da cidade da Coruña.
