The project promoted by the CITIC at the UDC receives an award promoted by the Galician NGDO Coordinator (CGONGD) with the support of the Xunta de Galicia.

The CITIC has 14 female researchers included in the “Ranking of Women Researchers Spanish or in Spain”, compiled by the Cybermetrics Laboratory of the Institute for Public Policy and Public Goods at the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC).

CITIC researchers Rubén Pérez Jove and Carlos J. Escudero will take part in the newest edition of Pint of Science 2026 with two outreach science presentations that will bring the public closer to topics related to artificial intelligence applied to cybersecurity and how GPS works.

The Faculty of Computer Science at the Universidade da Coruña will host this coming Thursday, May 14th, at 09:30 AM, a specialised seminar on advanced statistics delivered by Professor Domingo Morales, from the Universidad Miguel Hernández in Elche.

The CITIC at the Universidade da Coruña participated this past May 9th in the latest edition of “Día da Ciencia na Rúa”, an event of particular significance as it marked it 30th anniversary and was held, for the first time, in the Gardens of Méndez Núñez in A Coruña.

The research proposes the use of an electric current — based on the Joule effect — as an alternative to conventional curing of carbon fibre composites. The thesis was co-directed by Salvador Naya, a researcher at CITIC, and Ramón Artiaga, from CITENI.
