O investigador do CITIC Juan Romero foi galardoado no evento EvoMUSART 2021: 10th International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Music, Sound, Art and Design, que se celebrou dentro de Evostar do 7 ao 9 de abril. O investigador recibiu o premio Evo* Award for Outstanding Contribution to Evolutionary Computation in Europe, concedido pola Society for the Promotion of Evolutionary Computation in Europe and its Surroundings (SPECIES).

O obxectivo principal de EvoMUSART é reunir a investigadores que están utilizando técnicas de Intelixencia Artificial para tarefas artísticas, brindando a oportunidade de promover, presentar e discutir os proxectos nos que se atopan traballando neste ámbito.
