Tras la defensa de su tesis doctoral, titulada “New Methodological Contributions in Statistical Learning for Time Series”, el investigador del CITIC Ángel López Oriona ha sido contratado para incorporarse de forma inmediata a un grupo de investigación en la King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) de Arabia Saudí.
El investigador y profesor de la UDC, Francisco Zayas Gato, ha recibido recientemente el primer Premio Nacional IDOM a la mejor Tesis Doctoral en Control Inteligente por “Implementación de algoritmos de asistencia y recomendación para la toma de decisiones y detección de situaciones singulares en sistemas complejos mediante técnicas inteligentes”; trabajo que tuvo como directores a José Luis Calvo Rolle y Esteban Jove Pérez, miembros del CITIC.
