The Centre for Research in Information and Communication Technologies (CITIC) at the University of A Coruña will take part this Sunday in the Open Science event in Cambre, where it will showcase a range of activities focused on technological accessibility.

CITIC at the University of A Coruña is advancing the design of high-impact technological solutions with a new optimization model for the shipbuilding industry, developed in collaboration with CITENI (Research Centre for Naval and Industrial Technologies).

CITIC will develop two lines of research in Artificial Intelligence, focused on the energy efficiency of algorithms and the resolution of social and environmental challenges.

The visit aims to strengthen the collaboration between CITIC and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), a strategic alliance that has already enabled the arrival of four MIT students to the Galician research center.
