Researchers Naomi Diz Rosales and Alejandro Fernández Camello led a new session of the CITIC TIC Talk breakfast series this Tuesday, April 30.

The current rector of the UDC and CITIC researcher has received the National Statistics Award today.

CITIC participated yesterday in the V Internship and Employment Fair of the Faculty of Computer Science of UDC, where the IX Awards for the best applied Final Degree Project of FIC were presented.

CITIC received today a representation from the universities of Tarapacá and Valparaíso, as part of the “Ingeniería 2030, Development for the Regions” project.

This afternoon, the fourth HumanIA workshop of UDC was held, a training cycle organized by the Social Council and the Faculty of Humanities of UDC, in collaboration with CITIC.

CITIC of UDC hosted the XXXIX seminar of the Association of Professors of Radiology and Medical Physics (APURF), which featured the participation of the Health Minister, Antonio Gómez Caamaño.

Finally, in the Virtual Reality Room, the last stop of the school visits, they activated the virtual supermarket, designed by researcher Manuel Lagos, to assist in the physical and cognitive rehabilitation of people with reduced mobility.

As is typically the case in the tours organized at the center, the group has learned about the technological infrastructures available to the research staff.
